Awesome article from Worship Pastor Aaron Keyes

Heya Team,

I was reading this blog from Aaron Keyes, a worship leader I greatly admire and respect, and found it to be incredibly honest, real and enlightening.  Our words have power and we always need to be careful to say things that build and lift up.  Let's be harp carriers and not spear throwers!

  1. Great article. It's such an important reminder. Right after I read it I left my desk to head to another area of the office. While on my way I overheard a conversation about one of my coworkers and what a great job he had done suggesting a solution to a problem we were having. I immediately caught myself and stopped myself from saying something I would have most likely regretted. I had suggested that same solution just a few weeks earlier but it was shrugged off.
It is not important who gets the credit, what is important is that the problem was solved and that everybody is better off. For some reason it is easier for me to realize that principle in a church setting. What I need to remember is that every situation I encounter is a church setting.
